This colourful market takes place in the High Street and Saxon Square very Monday from 8am to 4pm when up to a hundred local traders sell a variety of quality and value for money products ranging from fresh fruit and vegetables, gifts, household goods, books, CDs and clothing to home-made sausages and pies. Spend an enjoyable couple of hours wandering through the market and visiting our local shops and then why not stop off for a tasty snack or meal at one of the town centre cafes and bars.
This very popular farmers'market takes place in Saxon Square on the first Friday of each month from 9am - 1pm. Approximately fourteen local producers sell their own made/grown produce including: bread, jams, pies, cheese, pickles, fruit & vegetables, organic meat, eggs and blueberry products.
This market takes place in Saxon Square every Thursday from 10am - 4pm and although relatively small it has an interesting range of stalls selling a variety of products e.g. hand-made jewellery, gift and cards, crafts, hand-made jumpers, plants and fresh vegetables.

The Food Market runs from 10am - 5pm on both days and Lesley Waters, the Festival's patron will open the Food Festival from the Mayor's Parlour balcony in the High Street at 10.30am on Saturday.
