Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th May 2010 (10am - 5pm)

A fabulous two day open-air market in Christchurch's traffic free High Street. Around 100 traders including the Dorset Farmer' Market, lcoal and Italian Market, will be selling quality local, regional and international food and drink. Representatives from Christchurch's twin town Aalen in Germany will be returning too to sell their German beer and there will be free cookery demonstrations in the Rangemaster Cookery Theatre, Saxon Square by top chef and Food Festival Patron Lesley Waters and leading Indian chef Cyrus Todiwala, Rose Elliot known as the Queen of Vegetarian Cooking, plus Christchurch's top local chefs With children's educational activities in the Kids Kitchen and entertainment...there's something to suit all palates!
The Food & Wine Festival will be officially opened on Saturday 8th May at 10am by the Mayor of Christchurch Cllr David Flagg.
