Christchurch has an excellent programme of events throughout the year with numerous festivals, exhibitions and events, so you’re bound to find something you’ll really enjoy.

Christchurch has a flourishing arts and cultural scene with a wealth of local artists and craftspeople who regularly exhibit their work at a variety of locations throughout the borough.

CADarts (Christchurch & District Arts Council), Highcliffe Castle, the Red House Museum, The Christchurch Priory and the Regent Centre have extensive programmes of events, concerts, plays, shows, exhibitions and displays throughout the year.  The Regent Centre's programme also includes current film releases and live links to the New York Opera House as well as live shows and musicals  and performances by visiting artists.

From classics to rock, opera to folk, there's plenty of live music to enjoy during your visit.  A wide range of live music take splace regularly in our pubs, restaurants and hotels and there are numerous musical events throughout the year.  Check out listings on Live Wire for full details.

Christchurch is very close to Bournemouth and the New Forest .  Both areas boast an extensive programme of events throughout the year.

'Christchurch Activities for Young People' is a lcoal organisation that organise Activities for children in School holidays- This is available to both visitors and local children, but booking is normally essential.  For events across the county check out What's On in Dorset or visit-dorset.
