Christchurch Christmas Festival & Switch-on

Saturday 1st December 2012 10am -7pm

A fun packed day with entertainment throughout Christchurch town centre plus late night shopping until 7pm - a great opportuity to stock up on those Christmas gifts and have fun at the same time!
Festival parking available at Peeks Party Store, town centre car parks and Two Riversmeet Leisure Centre

Great fun for all the family with:
*10am - 7pm Christmas Market and children's giant slide and rides in the High Street
*10am - 7pm Craft Fair in Saxon Square
*10am - 3pm Magical Moments entertainment in Saxon Square Marquee
*11.00 - 11.45am Christchurch Library - FREE 'Fairytale' storytelling and craft making sessions
for 4-10 years. No ticket required.
*1pm - 3.30pm Free mince pies and Mulled Wine served at the Red House Museum, plus
10% off all shop stock all day
* 1pm, 2.15pm & 3.30pm State of Undress perform outside Bookends, High Street

*2pm-4pm " Messy Christmas" at Christchurch Baptist Church, Bargates - Free event
*2.15 - 3pm Christchurch Library - FREE 'Fairytale' storytelling and craft making sessions for 4-10 years. No ticket required
* 3pm - 7pm Priory Christmas Fayre - Stalls, gifts, raffle, toys, refreshments, mulled wine and
competitions. Choral Evensong at 5pm. Bookshop Open. Entertainment throughout the afternoon by Priory Choir and Musicians.
*4pm Father Christmas arrives with his reindeer outside Peeks and travels down through
Bargates to the High Street
*4.30pm Christmas Lights Switch On by Father Christmas, the Mayor of Christchurch Cllr. Susan Spittle and HEART FM
*5.30pm Father Christmas and his reindeer will be outside the Priory Church for the children to
see the reindeer and give Father Christmas their Christmas lists

*until 23 December - free Family Treasure Hunt around the town centre. Your chance to win some fabulous family prizes including family tickets to Christchurch attractions.
