11- 20 May 2012

The award-winning Christchurch Food & Wine Festival will be taking place from 11-20 May 2012 with a multitude of mouth-watering events in Christchurch's restaurants, pubs and hotels - from tasty Thai cuisine to fine food dining, including themed meals, demonstrations, foodie events and cookery classes at the Kings Cook School in Castle Street.

The fabulous International Food Market takes place on the opening weekend on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 May with over 100 traders in the High Street selling an extensive range of quality food and drink and food and drink-related produce, and returning again this year will be the popular Sicilian Market in the cobbled area of Church Street.
And if you are aged between three and eleven years old, why not visit the Kids Kitchen in the Priory School, Wick Lane during the market weekend and enjoy food tastings, quizzes, competitions and cookery demonstrations. FREE demonstrations by celebritychefs Lesley Waters and James Martin and top local chefs will be taking place throughout the opening weekend in the Festival Marquee in Wick Lane car park - adjacent to the Regent Centre.

Tickets for Kids Kitchen, the Cook School and many other foodie events can be booked on-line through the Regent Centre http://www.regentcentre.co.uk/events.php
