Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th May 2012(10am - 5pm)

A fabulous two day open-air marke on the opening weekend of the Food Festival, in Christchurch's traffic free High Street and in the cobbled area of Church Street. Over 100 traders including regional and local food producers along and the very popular traditional Sicilian Market in the cobbled area of Church Street, will be selling an extensive variety of quality local, regional and international food and drink. Representatives from Christchurch's twin town Aalen in Germany will also be returning too, to sell their German beer on Christchurch Round Table's stall.
Free cookery demonstrations by Christchurch's top chefs and celebrity chefs Lesley Waters & James Martin will be taking place in the AGA Rangemaster Cookery Theatre in Wick Lane Car Park - adjacent to the Regent Centre and there will be entertainment taking place in Saxon Square and by the Priory Gates.

The Kids Kitchen workshops will also be taking place in the Priory School, Wick Lane so don't forget to book your places as they fill up fast!

The Food & Wine Festival will be officially opened on Saturday 12h May at 10am by the Mayor of Christchurch Cllr Mrs Sue Spittle.
